Well, the day has finally come, launch day… Launch day for what? My team and I have been secretly working away on this project for 3 years now. It’s called Yummo. You can see it at yummo.com.au
What is it?
It’s a web site built upon a large food product database. We’ve developed a number of tools, including an iPhone and an Android app designed to empower people by providing info on what they are eating and what they are feeding their families. Everything was made from scratch, we’ve collected, collated and verified the
data, we designed and built the system.
We’ve done it all ourselves…that’s why it’s taken so long!
If you have a food allergy, food intolerance, want to lose or gain weight, have diabetes and need to count carbs, or if you have any sort of health related issue that means you need to watch what you’re eating, or if you want to buy Australian, Yummo could be for you. Even if you don’t have any special dietary needs, we have other good stuff, like recipes, blogs, and we’ll be running competitions and shooting interesting videos, that may interest you.
